Our Team

The people who make up Weitz Funds are the core of who we are, and the reason we can do what we do so well. Many have been with us for more than a decade, and they know how to give our shareholders what they need.

Mary Bickels
Client Service Manager

Mary exemplifies customer service in every way. Our client services department wouldn’t be the same without her. In fact, Wally Weitz himself has said this company couldn’t do what it does without her.

Mary has been part of Weitz Investments since 1993. She previously worked with Wally Weitz at a different brokerage firm for almost 10 years. She believes there’s no better place to work than where she is today.

Mary and her husband call themselves “professional fans” of most sports teams and they’re at various games rooting for their favorites whenever possible.

At home, Rachelle and her husband enjoy the comedy stylings of their son. Rachelle also makes time for reading and writing.
